The Shattered Clock

Why this game instead of others?

There are a 1000+ MMO’s and similar single-player games.
This is the world’s first Mingle-Player Game!

It is a mix between a single-player and multi-player game. Everyone plays their game as a single-player game, mostly. There are actions that you, or other players, can do which affect all other players (who are online at the time).

A small example – a trader completing a contract creates a limited number of elven arrows that are now available for all players that were online at the time of the contract being completed.

Mingle-player format also allows for GM (gamesmaster) actions. Like making a swarm of zombies, or maybe a dragon appear. Or a host of different things.

The Shattered Clock integrates real-life events of the early 21st century (and earlier) in a parody-fantasy fashion to retell the stories of life in a playable and digestible fashion. There is a theme to the main storyline, which you will discover early on, and mixed in with this throughout your adventures you will find many other storylines. Some of these in the form of a chain of quests, others just as part of the world(s) realities as you explore.

And though days, weeks, months and years will pass by in this game, the style of this single-player game affords you the luxury of being able to get up and attend to other life matters at an instance, no pausing required, no monsters or other players killing you whilst you are afk.

The combat system takes into account the weapon you use, the types of attacks, your stats, the armour of your adversary, whether it’s dark or light, magical or potion effects, special class effects, your skills in weapon and armour, your stamina and balance.
These and others are effects for you to explore and master, the difference between a newb adventurer and an expert adventurer.

Because of the nature of the game, there will constantly be room for growth, new towns and cities, new land masses, new islands, new worlds, and even new timelines or dimensions. Your character can stay with you the whole way through your journey.

A diverse reputation system that unlocks hidden quests, events, items, areas, will keep you thinking on what faction or person you fight for, or whether you simply fight for yourself.

An in-depth crafting system that integrates magic at higher levels for the Artifact Creators in your will have you hunting the rarest drops from the rarest monsters. You will need hunting skills, exploration skills, trading skills, fighting skills, diplomacy skills, depending on what you want to build.

Because of the complex descriptions your character can have from your own design, if you look self you can get Grok to draw you a portrait of your character.

Microtransactions are done in BSV, only that blockchain will work. Any BSV wallet will work, simply follow in the ingame instructions when asked to make a payment.

All payments have a QR code with related information here – https://dalais.org/payments/

Found a bug? Got a suggestion? Or stuck in the game? Or maybe you want to encourage some traders to complete certain contracts so you can buy some shiny new arrows?

A single-player text-based RPG with multi-player elements (mingle-player) where you choose the actions journey of the hero.

Your actions and adventure affects not only your game, but potentially everyone else in the world that is playing.

You start your adventure in a future timeline, the starter zone, which will quickly diverge into a medieval fantasy that you can get your teeth stuck into.

The Story So Far

Something is wrong with the reality you know.

You have been sent to a distant space station so that you can use the space station facilities to travel back in time and fix the timeline.

Your starship was attacked on your journey here, but you repelled the invaders, repaired the damage and continued on your journey. Now you have arrived at the station.

But something is not right; there is certainly trouble ahead.
